Welcome to the Spring edition of

The Geoffrey Castle Newsletter

Hi there!

It's raining as I write this, and it's been one of the rainiest months on record, at the end of one of the rainiest seasons. There are lots of places on earth that would love to have this rain, but sometimes rain comes at a price. I'm proud to call this state of Washington home. When the Seahawks win, we all rejoice together, and when tragedy strikes, we all grieve together. It is in this spirit that I want to express my heartfelt sadness and support for the survivors, firefighters, and families of Oso and the surrounding towns, along the banks of the Stillaguamish River.

The locals call the river "The Blue Stilly", and in its honor and to support the men and women who are always first on the scene when things go horribly wrong — our firefighters — I will be doing a benefit concert: Heroes of the Blue Stilly Memorial Day weekend, in May.

Details on this concert are just now coming together, but it would be great if you would all save the date: Saturday, May 24 in Stanwood at the Performing Arts Center. When tickets go on sale, you will be the first to know!

In the meantime there are lots of amazing things happening that you should know about!

The new CD The Other Side with Fractal Music Works is doing great, and I've been hearing lots of great reviews from many of you! Reviews are fun to read, but they're even more fun when they're in print for the whole world to see. That's why you should go to iTunes, right now, download the CD, and then write a review! it will boost our standings tremendously, plus it will be fun to read what you write!

Download Store
Have you listened to EVERYTHING that is in my download store? I'm betting you haven't. There are CDs that were released as digital only, CDs that have been out of print for ten years, and lots lots more, all available, exclusively, at my Download Store. Here's a link to an amazing and beautiful Yoga Workout CD that I bet you've never heard…

You can listen to whole songs before you buy, not just some random snippet, and you can choose to just download the song, or download the whole CD. It's fun! You can create your own personal "Geoffrey Castle's Greatest Hits" package! <LOL>

You can also share all the songs with your friends on…

Yep. It's a great way to stay in touch and share music and videos with your friends. Have a favorite song? Post it on your page so your friends can hear it, and pass it along, too. Who knows, maybe you will be the person who makes it go viral! Come like my page at

Almost everything I've done solo is out there on YouTube. I've created a new YouTube channel — GeoffreyCastleTube — featuring some amazing videos from the concert I did at the Triple Door Theater last June. Aerialists from Emerald City Trapeze, Fleurs d'Egypte belly dance troupe, Josephine Howell, and of course Darin Watkins on drums, are all in the spotlight with me. Here's "Istanbul" with Nadira and her amazing belly dancers!

Type my name into Pandora. See what happens. :-)
Pandora has been garnering me fans from all over the country. Apparently, I've got quite a fan base in Long Island, NY! Who knew? Gotta love that…

There are new shows, new venues, special guests, road trips, and all sorts of springtime excitement coming up in April and May! New video from The Celtic Christmas concerts featuring Beth Quist and the St. Patrick's Celebrations featuring Fractal Music Works is all coming very soon to the new YouTube Channel! So stay tuned, and see you at a show soon!
